Mustard Seed
Mustard is originally from the Mediterranean area, where it has been used for over a thousand years. The typical big yellow seeds are known for their sweet taste that is followed by mild spiciness. Whole seeds are used for vegetable preservation - pickled cabbage, cucumbers or mushrooms. Dried mustard is suitable for soups or stewed dishes, for marinades, seasoning and preserving fish.
Tip: When you add ground mustard during stewing, your meals will be spicier.
