Gelatin

  • 18 grams
Comes in handy when making cakes, but also savoury foods like brawn, aspic and jelly.

Ingredients (powdered mixture):
edible gelatin (animal protein).

May contain traces of gluten, eggs, milk, celery and lupin.

Our tip:
While preparing a cake, sweeten the gelatin or use fruit juice instead of water. Pour the gelatin over the cake after it has cooled, as soon as you can see it starting to gel. The packet suffices for a cake with a 30cm diameter. To use the gelatin for meats and fishes of all kinds, vegetable or meat salads, stuffed or garnished eggs and other dishes, sweeten the mixture according to taste, and add vinegar and salt and pour over the food once it has cooled.
  • Cooking instructions
    Steps to follow:

    Mix the bag's contents in a container and pour in 0.5l hot water (approx.80°C) stir continuously until fully dissolved.
