Oregano
Oregano is a wild type of marjoram. This herb with its nice spicy scent and slightly bitter taste is mostly used in Mediterranean, Asian and Mexican cuisines. Oregano is traditionally linked to Italian cuisine. It is irreplaceable when preparing pizza, pasta, tomato sauces and salads. We also use it to highlight the taste of veal, lamb, chicken and seafood.
Tip: As well as other fresh herbs, add oregano at the end of the cooking process, so as to not lose aroma and taste.
