Its strong aroma and spicy, slightly bitter taste make it one of the most distinctive spices. Caraway is essential when baking bread and other pastries. It is used to flavour soups, potatoes, cabbage, meat, fish and fatty foods.
Tip: Ground caraway is more suitable to sprinkle over salty pastries as it holds better than whole caraway.
