Curry
This traditional oriental mixture, based on turmeric, coriander and cumin is distinguished by its sweetish flavour and bold yellow colour. The sweet taste of clove and nutmeg is completed with fresh ginger and hot chili, the typical colour is provided by turmeric. It is used to season stewed poultry, pork, veal or lamb, in cream sauces or soups. It can also add colour and spicy taste to rice or legumes.
Tip: Try to add curry to pasta or rice salad. Apart from the colour, you will be surprised by the uniquely oriental taste.
Ingredients: turmeric, ground coriander, cumin, ground fenugreek, ground caraway, ground black peppercorns, ground ginger, ground clove, ground chili, ground mace, salt, ground cardamom, mix of spices, E 341.
May contain traces of sesame, mustard and celery.
