Lovage
At first lovage was grown in oriental countries, but it swiftly spread to Mediterranean lands. It adds a unique taste not only to vegetable and meat broths, but also to sauces. If you add lovage to water with boiled potatoes, it will give them a specific taste. Lovage can be used with minced meats, pâtés, spreads, vegetable dishes and with boiled beef and lamb.
