Ground Black Peppercorns
Ground black peppercorn is produced using the still-green, unripe fruits of the peppercorn plant. Its original homelands are the regions surrounding India, but today it is cultivated in many tropical and subtropical lands. Peppercorns have a spicy, sharp and aromatic taste. It is mostly used to flavour pork and beef and sauces but it can also enhance the taste of seafood.
Tip: Add ground peppercorns at the end of the cooking process, prolonged boiling causes a loss of taste.
